The twist scarf

These photos are the curly winding effect that the twist scarf takes on after you have been knitting the instructions for a while

I guess I have been knitting this for about four hours all together (I am slow and do it in bits, not all at the same time)

If you straighten the scarf out you get a messy frilly sort of thing happening
To make the twist scarf it is essentially alternating isosceles triangles making enough to make a circley shape and then it spirals along so here is the pattern: The only stitch that you use is the knit stitch so it actually simple, with a really fancy look

cast on 22 stitches
Line1: Knit(K)2, swap sides (so you can K2)
once you have returned to starting position
Line2: K4, swap sides (same as before), K4
Line3: K6, swap sides, K6
Line4:K8, swap sides, K8
Line5: K10, swap sides, K10
Line6: then K22
go back to Line1 and follow through to Line6 and repeat over and over and over

*at first it will resemble angel wings before it twists and  makes the spiral
